Meet Our Pride
Sobek
Sobek is the talk of the town! This rare lizard from Indonesia is usually known for being skittish, but Sobek is calm, handleable, and a fan favorite. He’s also very food-motivated and thrives on a varied omnivorous diet of fruits, vegetables, and insects. The name is characteristic of the giant sail present on the tail. He is named after the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park.

Fun Fact: Sobek is an excellent swimmer, and can even run on water for short distances!
